Abstract Dancers

Ceramic Sculpture, Art Tile and Mosaics

To celebrate Illahe Studios and Gallery's new location in the recently restored Bundini building, gallery owner, Sue Springer, introduces new work in a show entitled "Abstract Dancers" inspired by a recent visit to Spain. The historic building will feature a dance studio upstairs from the gallery, which illuminates the vitality of dance in the culture, and connects people in the community.

View several ceramic and mosaic wall pieces inspired by the creative energy, costumes, and interplay of movement and color, brought to life by the artistic forms of various dance styles. This new work depicts a formal flair and romantic spirit, perfect for the new building. In addition, Sue will show her latest freestanding sculptures of dancers, a bold display with an abstract, cubist perspective.

Sue’s studio will also relocate to our new building, providing a place for hands-on art workshops and for visitors to see her work in progress. We feel fortunate to be able to provide the community with a much larger space to display local artwork and are excited about the endless possibilities for artist demonstrations, workshops, poetry readings, films and gatherings.

Come see our eclectic display of functional to fanciful accents for the home. Our featured artist exhibits change monthly, so watch for our upcoming shows, workshops, and special events.
