Operation Summer Expression
This show features student artists: Ali Van Olphen, Brandon Scheirman, Vicki Mc Elroy, and Kailey Cockell. These young artists were recipients of a grant from The Ashland Galleries Association to assist with the purchase of art supplies and to support the continuation of creativity over the summer break. The results of their summer inspiration are evident in this diverse display of talents.

"Ruby Eyebrow" by Susan Springer
For a special treat this month, gallery owner, Susan Springer will display her collection of ceramic Raku masks. Raku is a Japanese fast-firing technique characterized by bright colors, crackle glazes, and black reduced clay. Raku means, “pleasure or enjoyment,” and these unique masks will bring both to the viewer!
